It is with our deepest sorrow,shock and disbelief that we need to inform you of the death of the IDF former President and General Secretary,President of our Italian member organisation Danza in Federazione Franco Ventura. Franco was one of the founders and a real heart and soul of our federation. A charismatic and inspirational leader,passionate,highly knowledgeable,kind,fair and diplomatic. A real gentleman. A truly wonderful human being. A very special man and a real friend to so many of us and our dancers. We join in pain and grief with Franco’s wife Mara,his daughters and all the family. Franco,you have left a long lasting legacy.You will always be part of the IDF. You will be greatly missed and you will stay in our hearts forever. Rest in peace.
